Oxnard Ambassadors

The Oxnard Ambassadors were established in 1968 as a group of business owners and members of pioneer families who were considered the "movers and shakers" of the Oxnard community. Membership is by invitation only and includes a maximum of 30 active members at any one time.

During the year, Ambassador activities support various worthy causes including scholarships established at California State University Channel Islands and Oxnard College for Oxnard students, the healing garden at St. John's Regional Medical Center, Military Citizen of the Year award presented at Oxnard's Community Awards Night, free military band concerts for the general community, and special business projects.

City of Oxnard

A seaside city, Oxnard is located near the Channel Islands, with many miles of beaches, waterway homes, strawberry and agriculture fields, and with many activities around the community. Oxnard has a diversified base of businesses which includes 3 military bases nearby.

The Oxnard Ambassadors renewed its membership with the WVCBA and again will sponsor this year's Annual Oxnard Community and Business Awards (August 17 at 11:30am in Heritage Square) and the Military Appreciation Dinner (TBD), continuing our mission to support our local military and business community.
